Colossians 3:17

In February's reading we learned that God tells us a lot about all kinds of relationships.
Regarding God-We've learned that our most important relationship is with God. And we are to love Him with All of our hearts, souls and minds.
Our Neighbors-This is followed by our second most important relationship, which is which, with our neighbor whom we are to love us ourselves. Who is our neighbor? The story of the Good Samaritan seems to suggest that everyone is.
Father and Mother-Children are told to honor their father and mother. This is actually the first Commandment with a promise. You're promised a long life if you honor your mother and father.
Brother and sisters-All fellow believers are your brothers and sisters. If your brother offends you, you must forgive him as often as he asked for forgiveness. If your brother or sister has fallen on hard times, and you have financial means, you must help him or her.
Husbands and Wives-A husband must love his wife as his own body. A wife must submit herself to her husband as she would to the Lord.
A believer caught up in a fault-You must restore him in love. Speak to him in private. Don't tell everyone what he's done. Gossiping is a sin.
The poor-Don't oppress the poor.
Orphans and widows-Visit orphans and widows. They may be in distress.
Friends-A Christian friend should love at all times. May God help us to be obedient and honor Him in all of our relationships.

What happens when a woman gives her life completely to God? Join women all over the United States daily as we read through God's Word. Pick a time that works for you each day, prepare your heart and mind to hear from God, think about what you've read during the day, and watch how God changes you. Share with a friend.
If you have a prayer request or have a question about faith, we'd love to hear from you.
